In an emergency, please dial 111 from your cell phone. Contact the Managers to assist until help arrives.

Check out is by 10am. If checking out before the office opens, leave your key in the key box outside Reception.

Free unlimited wifi available.

We try to provide up to date information on weather and road conditions in Reception. We also have a comprehensive range of brochures which you are welcome to browse through. Do not hesitate to ask if you can't find what you need to know. We are happy to assist with all bookings on request.

For Health and Safety reasons all visiting friends and family must report to Reception before entering Haast River Motels & Holiday Park. We do not provide casual showers or use of our facilities to unpaid guests.

Rooms are not serviced daily however fresh towels can be collected from reception. Rooms are serviced on your 3rd day of stay between 1pm and 2pm. Please let us know if you would like a sheet change. Daily servicing can be available for an extra cost.

Lost property will be returned upon receipt of a prepaid envelope. All lost property is kept for one month before being donated to charity.

Due to our wetter environment, South Westland is home to the infamous Sandfly (daytime) and Mosquito (night-time). For your comfort, keep your windows and doors shut at night to block out any Mosquitoes. There is fly spray available in the cupboard underneath the kitchen sink for any that should get in. We also sell Tui Bug Balm at Reception.

Chickens - They love your scraps. Put your scraps over the fence. Please, no feeding them in the hanger or campsites if they have escaped into the holiday park!

We also have Sheep on the property. These are behind fences. Please do not go into the fenced area.

Located near laundry and public phone in the foyer. A large work desk is available and power boards for charging devices.

Safe storage facilities are available for small to medium-sized valuable items. We have a lockable storage room & safe, please ask at reception.

We have Recycling & Rubbish bins located in the drive-through (under the veranda) & at the Park Amenities Block.

Recycling is to be placed into the appropriate bins. Fish carcasses must be wrapped in paper for disposal.

For chrome cast operation, press the AV button, chrome cast -> HDMI 1 then OK. Follow instruction on screen. Happy casting! 😊

For normal TV press AV, go to antenna, then press OK.

We have a large DVD library in the office. We require a $10 deposit and full refund on return of the DVD.

Umbrellas are available to borrow at Reception.

A cooling fan is available and placed in your wardrobe.

We have a baby bath and highchair available. The Porta-Cot can be hired at $20 per night including all bedding. Please ask at Reception.

A courtesy car can be booked at Reception for Frontier Cafe and Bar (Heartland Hotel) or The Hard Antler Bar & Cafe.
